ABOUT US

The LongLiner Lodge is a 14-unit hotel open year-round, and The Galley Restaurant (open seasonally), located in Sitka, Alaska, sits on the waterfront and offers exceptional views. Guests can see Mt. Edgecumbe, eagles, sea lions, otters, and even whales. Please compare our rates and reviews before you book your room elsewhere.

  • Price match guarantee. We will match any booking site’s price for our rooms and will rebate any discounts they offer you below our lowest price. In addition, changes to your reservation are easier by booking directly, as you will talk with our local on-site staff about whatever your needs are.
  • Free airport shuttle available any time of day May 15th through September 30th, and available during limited hours during the off-season. Call to schedule your pick-up.

  • We are on the water/oceanfront and have a spectacular view.

  • All our deluxe and spacious rooms have two beds.
  • All rooms have refrigerators, wet bars, coffee pots, microwaves, and hairdryers.
  • Our Large studio apartment has two queens, two twins, and a water view with a balcony. This room also has a fully equipped kitchen and dining table.
  • Full-service bar and restaurant open seasonally. In the 2024 season, we open on May 8th.
  • Outside waterfront deck for dining and cocktails.
  • Laundry facilities available to the guests free of charge after 6 PM.
  • All new 40-inch or bigger flat-screen TVs in all rooms.

OUR ROOMS:

  • Type One: Deluxe rooms with two beds. Some of these rooms have two queens, and some have a queen and a twin.
  • Type Two: Studio apartment: We have 1 premium oversized room with a full kitchen, dining table, 3 queen beds and 1 twin bed. This room also features a balcony with ocean views.
  • Type Three: We have 3 premium suites with one bedroom, full kitchens, and spectacular ocean views with balconies (960 square feet living area and 155 ft. of balcony area). Bed configurations vary so please call if you have special needs or questions
  • Type Four: A master suite on the top story with 1200 square feet of living and balcony space, a full kitchen, and spectacular views overlooking the ocean. The master Suite has a king bed in the bedroom and two queen beds in a bonus room. There is also a large living room in the Master Suite. The bathroom has a jetted tub and a separate shower.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. We require a government issued ID for all guests checking in.
  2. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Cash only.
  3. The City of Sitka charges 12% tax in the summer months (11% in the winter) in addition to your room costs. This amount is in addition to your quoted room rate. Government agencies are exempt from the Tax. Other incidental charges (meals, etc.) are subject to a 6% sales tax.
  4. In order to expedite your check-out process, we will bill all guests for their room charges upon their arrival. Guests may simply vacate their rooms prior to 11AM and notify the office, or send us a text message to
    (907) 738-8737.
  5. Check-in is at 3 PM. Check out is 11 AM. If we have your room available, we will allow you to check in up to 3 hours early with our compliments. We realize that several flights arrive into Sitka early in the morning. The latest check out time (when available) is 1 PM without incurring extra charges. Please contact the front desk for those fees and availability. We will hold your bags in a secure location free of charge if you will not be departing from Sitka until later in the day.
  6. Smoking & Pet Policy: The Longliner Lodge and Suites is a non-smoking, pet-free hotel. This includes e-cigarettes. Failure to respect this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee of $350.
  7. For everyone’s comfort, quiet times are from 10 PM to 6 AM. Please realize that many fishermen will be preparing for their fishing charters earlier during the summer months. The Pioneer Bar and Mean Queen are a short walk away from the Longliner and will gladly keep you up well past our quiet times.
